David Huntington

Director and President

In 2015, David Huntington was promoted to President and COO for all BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina-owned TPA operations including TCC Benefits Administrator, Planned Administrators, and Companion TPA. David leads all aspects of sales, marketing strategy, finance, and operations for the combined group of companies.  Huntington is credited with “finding a way to make the business work and grow” and continues to adapt and find solutions that meet the changing needs of our clients. He is a veteran of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, joining the company in 1975. 



Peggy Austin

Vice President

Peggy Austin is Vice President of Operations for TCC Benefits Administrator and brings more than 40 years of industry experience to our company. Peggy oversees the entire operational side of TCC business, including claims processing, customer service, membership and medical review. She is responsible for human resources, accounting and financial operations, and facility management. Turnover at TCC is minimal.  Her teams build strong personal relationships with their clients and teammates, and instill a high standard of service.



John B. Wallace

Assistant Vice President
Information Systems

John Wallace is the Assistant Vice President of Information Systems for TCC Benefits Administrator and currently responsible for overseeing computer operations, telecommunications, and Web development. Prior to joining TCC in 2006, John was employed with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. Since joining TCC, John has been the manager of Computer Operations and has more than 15 years of health care operations and information technology experience. 



Phil Ericksen

Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

Phil Ericksen is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. He leads marketing, sales, business development, and client services.  Phil arrived in Charleston in 1998, and has an MBA from The Citadel.  Phil brings over 30 years of experience in national and regional health plan sales, self-funding group health, employer stop loss, strategic marketing alliances, and new product development.
